Q.	Why does my PIN have to be a number other than my Social Security Number?
A.	For security purposes, eM.A.G.I.C., our 24 hour Interactive Voice Response System, will not allow you to use your Social Security Number as a PIN.
Q.	I'm trying to transfer from my Regular Savings account to Checking (Share Draft) account. eM.A.G.I.C. is telling me that access has been restricted. What does that mean?
A.	The Federal Law, Regulation "D", allows only six electronic transfers per month. Click on Regulation "D" for additional information.
Q.	What does it mean when eM.A.G.I.C. refers to "account number"?
A.	Your member number is your identification number. Account numbers state the type of account you wish to access. Example: Regular Savings account number is (1), Checking (Share Draft) account is (9). Please refer to your Quarterly Statement for information on your specific account numbers.
Q.	I want to transfer money out of my Club account, but account access is restricted. Why?
A.	eM.A.G.I.C. does not allow withdrawals from any Club account.
Q.	I'm trying to transfer from one member number to another and it's saying the transfer request is not authorized. Why?
A.	Both member numbers have to be linked together on eM.A.G.I.C. Download, complete and submit a printable24-hour Access Application. Write both member numbers and indicate cross member transfer on the application. You must be a primary and/or joint member on each account. Forward the application to any CEFCU Location.
Q.	Can I place a stop payment on a check (draft) that is drawn on my Checking (Share Draft) account through M.A.G.I.C.?
A.	Yes, you can place a stop payment on a check.
Q.	Is there a limit on the check amount withdrawn, via eM.A.G.I.C., from my Regular Savings Account?
A.	Yes, you can withdraw up to $5,000.00 per business day.
Q.	Is there a limit on how many check withdrawals I can make per month?
A.	Yes, you can withdraw up to three checks per calendar month.
Q.	Is there a maximum amount I can transfer from one account to another through eM.A.G.I.C.?
A.	Yes, $10,000.00 per transfer (six transfers are allowed per calendar month).
Q.	I signed up for eM.A.G.I.C., but when I call it is not accepting my member number. What could the problem be?
A.	Verify that you are entering the correct member number by checking your Credit Union member ID Card or quarterly statement of accounts. It could also be a problem with the pound (#) key. It may not be sending the correct tone. Try repeating the transaction on a different phone.
Q.	Can I request a check to be mailed to my home from my Money Market Account?
A.	No, check withdrawals can only be made from the Regular Savings Account. You can transfer the funds (up to $10,000.00) to your Regular Savings account. Then, withdraw the check from your Regular Savings account.
